JUST RELEASED: Chris Brown's Video For Crawl
God, we love this video. Filled with emotion, beautifully directed (Joseph Kahn has come hard once again) and with some sick dancing at the end. And the song has to be one of our favourite Chris Breezy tunes, yet.

JUST RELEASED: Mariah's New Video For I Want To Know What Love Is
Now, you guys know that we stan for Mimi all day, every day, but this is hardly her best video. Not bad, obviously, but nothing to shout about either.
Then again, what else can you really do for this kind of song? And we did enjoy all the different kinds of love she shows in the vid - v. appropriate.
We just can't wait for her H.A.T.E. U vid, directed by the genius Brett Ratner (Rush Hour Series, Heartbreaker, It's Like That, We Belong Together, Obsessed etc) which should be coming out very soon.

JUST RELEASED: Rihanna's New Video For Russian Roulette Leaks
Ok, plus points:
The video is 5x better than the actual song any day of the week and is hella lot better than the one for Wait Your Turn.
It's actually pretty good and the various outfits she's sporting are v. nice...
Now, minuses...
At first, we could follow the story pretty easily, but this didn't stay the case for long. It got very confusing towards the end - what with the tiger flashing up every now and then (WTF was that about, anyway?), the random car crashing into her, her getting shot by bullets in the water (though that was our favourite scene - very visually pleasing).
We were just puzzled...
Still, overall, a pretty good video and maybe it'll become clearer the more we see it. Or, then again, it could be like JT's vid for Sexyback... which got more and more confusing the more we saw it...

JUST RELEASED: Rihanna's Rated R Album Sampler/ Preview
After nigh on months of recieving nothing but hype about the 'massive' new Rihanna LP from some of the hottest artists (JT, Ne-yo) and producers/writers (The Dream, Tricky Stewart) in the game, it's understandable that we've been expecting an album at least on the level of the sick GGGB.
But, after hearing Russian Roulette - which we still don't really like -, Wait Your Turn (which has actually really grown on us), and the admittedly pretty good Hard, we weren't sure if Rated R would live up to the hype. And, after listening to the below, it seems like we were right.
While it's admittedly alright, compared to her last offering, most of the admittedly sick music she (used) to come with, and the high expectations we had of both J Brown and the many A-List songwriters/producers, it's just not on that level. While we like a couple of tracks - the two mentioned above, Cold Case Love and Rude Boy- the rest isn't quite ringing with us. Yes, there is a possibility the tracks may grow on us, but there are no immediate stand out smash hits like GGGB had - Sell Me Candy, Don't Stop The Music, Rehab... we could go on.
Overall, for us, it's quite disappointing and not up to par with either A Girl Like Me or GGGB.
Anyway, see what you think of the below.
TRACKS TO SKIP TO: Hard, Cold Case Love, Rude Boy, Wait Your Turn.
1. Mad House
2. Wait Your Turn
3. Hard featuring Young Jeezy
4. Stupid In Love (written by Ne-Yo)
5. Rockstar 101 featuring Slash
6. Russian Roulette (written by Ne-Yo)
7. Fire Bomb
8. Rude Boy (written by Ester Dean)
9. Photographs (featuring will.i.am)
10. G4L (Gangsta For Life)
11. Te Amo
12. Cold Case Love (written by Justin Timberlake)
13. The Last Song

JUST RELEASED: Queen B And Lady Gaga's Two Collaboes...
After weeks of anticipation and our breathless wait for a video (don't get all excited, it still hasn't been released yet), we finally have both collaborations between the fantabulous Queen B and Lady Gaga below.
After discovering that the Gagita was to feature in the remix vid for B's Video Phone, we were ecstatic on finding out that the latter was to feature in the former's next single off the sure-to-be-crazy Telephone. So, when we found the below, we knew we had to post them up asap.
Needless to say we love both, but beware that Lady Gaga's verse is reportedly as of yet unmastered. Both sound like they're going to be hits and, after seeing the vid for Bad Romance, and knowing the legendary Hype Williams has directed Video Phone, the anticipation for the videos of both is killing us...
Enjoy...

SNEAK PEEKS: Gossip Girl Previews Of Next Week's Ep - Last Days Of Disco Stick

The below 3 previews see Dan and Nate discussing the now infamous 3some, and Mr Archibald informing him of just how stupid he has been; our favourite couple, Chair, having one of their infamously witty conversations; and a sneak look at the Gagita's performance...
Enjoy, ducklings...

JUST RELEASED: Skins Series 4 First Look
Being that we love Skins like a fat kid loves cake (thanks 50), as soon as we saw this posted up on youtube mere seconds ago, we knew our first priority was to share it with all of you.
The above features clips of what looks a kick-arse new season; the writers just seem to get better and better every season... which means that the nine months a year where there is an absence of new Skins episodes (the seasons only run for three months at a time) are definitely worth the wait cause we'll be getting some sick stuff when January rolls round...
Enjoy...

SOMETHING MESSED UP: Another Crazy Li-Lo Tape Released
Whereas some people seem to think criticising Michael Lohan is the best way forward, we are of the opinion that he's the only one who seems to care enough about Lindsay to be trying to get her help. Yes, his methods maybe questionable, but the girl seems like she's got some serious issues. And her mother's always seemed like a bit of a fame whore to us - like, who goes clubbing with their daughter? Mom-ager yes, club-hopping bff no.
Listen to the below and see if you agree with us...
JUST RELEASED: First Kick-Ass Trailer Arrives
Just days after the first Kick-Ass posters were released, we've been blessed with a trailer. Now, not to jinx it, from the looks of this, the movie could be the Superbad of 2010. It seems to be getting it right where the horrendous Superhero Movie got it so horribly wrong - this trailer alone is 100x funnier than that entire movie...
Starring: Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Moretz
R.D. 16.4.10
