REVIEW: Our Review Of Christopher Nolan's Latest Masterpiece 'Inception'...

REVIEW: Our Review Of Christopher Nolan's Latest Masterpiece 'Inception'...

Inception.

Where to even start?

How about the sheer genius of this film, the depth of the storywriting, the extremely high quality of acting; all factors that combined to give us LIFE. With Inception's incredible stunts, special effects and Christopher Nolan's unparalled visual mind (James Cameron excepted, of course), we were given everything we never even knew we needed.

And the score. Dear Lord above, THE SCORE. To put it very bluntly, Hans Zimmer (of Rain Man, Gladiator and The Dark Knight fame - amongst many, many others) did the damn thing like no other. Every piece of music matched the mood and set the scene to absolute perfection. There is nobody - NOBODY who could have done a better job than HZ.

And Leonardo Di Caprio really outdid himself in this film. There were some scenes so emotive, that it would take only the most skilled actor to pull them off. Which he did. Every. Damn. Time.

Honorary mentions must also go to Oscar nominee, Ellen Page, and Oscar Winner, Marion Cotillard - both actresses we love, and who portayed two of our favourite characters. Now, that's not to say that the other actors aren't worth mentioning - hardly! But these three are the ones who really shone.

Now, unusually for us, we're not going to give you any spoilers - this is the kind of movie that is almost unspoilable, anyway, but, trust us, you will want to be Inception virgins when you go into the theatre.

All we will tell you is the most basic summary of the idea. Inception is all about the theory of dreams, one's ability in them and why the least safe place to hide something is inside your own subconscious. Those who've already seen Inception will know exactly what we're talking about, those who haven't - well, what exactly is wrong with you? After everything you've heard about it; on TV, the internet, the media, why haven't you already made a trip to the cinema with your Inception ticket firmly in hand?

We didn't think that there was any way Christopher Nolan could top the EPIC Dark Knight, but damn it if he hasn't done just that with Inception. How on earth is he going to top it with the next Batman movie, set to begin shooting next April and due out in July 2012? Thank God, we have him at the helm, because if anyone can do it, he can.

Dear God, if you haven't seen Inception already, do so now.

As in right now.

Really, why are you still reading this?
