Sony Pictures just released these clips from the upcoming Easy A which stars Emma Stone and Gossip Girl's Penn Badgely. Read the synopsis below and check out the clips after the jump...
When clean cut high schooler Olive Penderghast (Stone) lies about losing her virginity to her gay best friend, Brandon (Dan Byrd), she begins to see life paralleling the story of Hester Prynne in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter”.
However, rival Marianne (Amanda Bynes) starts a string of rumors in order to bring down her reputation and force her to leave the school. Olive then decides to use the rumors to her own advantage; affixing a red A to her clothing in reference to the embattled heroine of the novel.
