Sigh...
We know that, while the majority of people are happy with the trailers and look of TPATF so far, there are a few who insist upon nitpicking on things that we, quite frankly, can't find a problem with.
'Why does Tiana spend most of the movie as a frog?'
etc etc...
Frankly it's all rubbish. No matter what Disney did, there would always be people who weren't happy. People always find something to complain about. These people, needless to say, are both irritating and whiny.
Hello, people? We finally have a black Disney princess, with a predominantly black cast in the movie. Of course she spends most of the movie as a frog - look at the title. What did you expect? It's part of the story. Stop looking for racist prejudices where there are none.
This is a sign of the times, the promising world in which we are now living. And it looks like a good movie.
We personally can't wait to see it when it comes out in December...

Hot track. We actually prefer this to Jeremih's debut, Birthday Sex. Nice vid too, except for the fact that it reminds us a bit of Bobby Valentino's one for Slow Down...
Speaking of Bobby V., when we gonna hear any new material?
Well, considering his latest flop of an album, The Rebirth, just came out back in February (We know, we had no idea either) not too soon, we're guessing. Isn't it always a shame when the career of a promising artist goes down the drain?

If this is a sign of things to come from Shakira's latest offering, She Wolf, then we can't wait for its' release on 9th October. With the majority of its' production from Wyclef Jean and Pharell Williams, it is highly anticipated and from the sound of Why Wait For Later and She Wolf , this album is set to be one of the best of the '09.
Just listen to the song below. Shakira's coming hard on it; the hook is infectious and it's reintroducing that whole Indian feel that we loved so much back in '03. It could be the follow-up to Did It Again ( her next single), it's that much of a hit...

Takers, starring T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana, is about a group of notorious of criminals who evade the police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. 'They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective who is hell-bent on solving the case' (Thanks, Hollywood.com!)
When we first heard about this movie a couple of years ago, we were like 'OK, sounds promising.' But, now that we've seen the trailer, it all seems a bit... blah. A bit... predictable. A little too much of a combination of a number of different movies; and trying to distract us by showing us some kick-arse stunts at the end (involving a truck and CB leaping off a builing that we all know he didn't go anywhere near in real life) is just not going to wash.
Will we see this movie? Again, if someone else is paying, yes. If not, then we'll see Paul Walker and co. on Sky Movies Premiere sometime in 2011...

Surrogates, Bruce Willis' new film out September 25th, is about a world where everyone can use a robotic double to interact with others, and is deemed perfectly safe until people start dying while using them...
We saw the first trailer for this a couple of months ago and thought it looked like an aite film - you know, the kind you'd watch on Sky Movies for free, but wouldn't pay to watch in the cinema or buy on DVD. Still pretty sure about that, except, of course, if someone else is paying then (naturally) we're not going to turn it down...
Still, should tide us over until Die Hard 5 is announced...

Another video just popped into our inbox. And this one is for the latest comeback Diva, Ms Whitney Houston.
With her latest album (of the same name) currently at #1 on BB200, she needed a video to match her new and improved image. And she hasn't disappointed. This video is classy yet current, emotive yet restrained, beautiful yet real...
And we love the song too.
You're coming hard, Whitney. And we can't wait to see your interview on Oprah with the Queen herself on Monday...

We just had this sent to us just a few minutes ago, so naturally we put it up straight away.
This is the video for Jordin Sparks' new single, S.O.S, directed by Chris Robinson and - we're happy to say- it shows a whole new side to Ms Sparks. She came hard on this video; wearing a relatively short dress in comparison to her usual - shall we say- more sedate offerings, and she looks good too.
The song would have been a better comeback single than Battlefield; because, while you know we love us some Ryan Tedder, that song had a tendency to sound sick on first hearing it, but become irritating after a few listens. S.O.S is catchy, with an infectious chorus and hook ('S.O.S') and is also critically acclaimed.
Well done Jordin. You remembered the Two Single Rule (we'll explain what this is later...)
