Takers Trailer Released
Hmm...
Takers, starring T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana, is about a group of notorious of criminals who evade the police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. 'They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective who is hell-bent on solving the case' (Thanks, Hollywood.com!)
When we first heard about this movie a couple of years ago, we were like 'OK, sounds promising.' But, now that we've seen the trailer, it all seems a bit... blah. A bit... predictable. A little too much of a combination of a number of different movies; and trying to distract us by showing us some kick-arse stunts at the end (involving a truck and CB leaping off a builing that we all know he didn't go anywhere near in real life) is just not going to wash.
Will we see this movie? Again, if someone else is paying, yes. If not, then we'll see Paul Walker and co. on Sky Movies Premiere sometime in 2011...
