LIST: Britney Spears' 15 Best Songs...
In addition to the earlier Beyoncé post, we have put our list of Britney's fifteen best songs after the jump.
Enjoy.
15) 'Don't Go Knocking On My Door' - We've always thought that Brit's vocals in the breakdown almost sounded like scatting. For that alone..
14) 'Lucky' - In our opinion, one of Brit's best vocal performances to date. That as well as the catchy pop production and comparatively darker edge result in one of her best offerings.
13) 'I'm A Slave 4 U' - R&B Neptunes production & irresistibly broken-up drum beat as well as Brit's sultry moans make this song a winner.
12) 'Me Against The Music' - Brit's almost-groaned vocals from the onset as well as the fantastic production & a feature from the Queen. There is no way this couldn't make our list.
11) 'Baby One More Time' - The song that started it all. Iconic isn't even the word. But, for us, it's the final chorus that really does it.
10) 'That's Where You Take Me' - Brit's adorably happy and infectious vocals, as well as the light, poppy production make this song one of her best.
09) 'Lonely' - Another example of brilliant production courtesy of Darkchild combine with Brit's dark and edgy vocals to, essentially, foretell of Blackout's eventual arrival.
08) 'Criminal' - An offering from her latest lp, this is actually one of Brit's best songs production-wise & her best vocal in a while.
07) 'Everytime' - A beautifully haunting piano melody and Brit's pained tone as well as one of the best outros we've ever heard, this song is undoubtedly one of the Princess' best.
06) 'Get Back'- Set to be 'Blackout's first single until its leak, this song features an insane, Danja-produced beat as well as Brit's trademark edgy vocals. Still waiting for those two to get back in the studio together.
05) 'Crazy (Stop Remix)' - Featuring many of Brit's best notes and a comparatively dark pop beat, this song is the best uptempto from her debut record.
04) 'Radar' - Despite the hugely underrated plot-driven video, we feel this song could have been a huge hit with promotion. Sheer pop magic.
02) 'Born To Make You Happy' - For us, Brit's best 'ballad'. The key change in the final minute of the song illustrate its many strengths.
1) 'Break The Ice'- Brit and Danja MUST collaborate again, because this song is sheer genius. The crazy production & husky vocals compliment each other perfectly.

Where are Womanizer and If U Seek Amy? xD
ReplyDeleteI think that "Phonography" is perhaps one of the Princesses most underrated songs, it shows of some of her more subtle vocals skills, and has a killer hook. It should be on the list, perhaps 15th or 14th...
