While J.J. is set to make her only UK performance of the year with 'Make Me', the Gagita will at last perform, for the first time in Britain, her hit single Bad Romance (one of our favourite songs of this year).


Can you imagine our excitement when we first heard this? It's going to be sick!

Directed by Vincent Haycock, and featuring a Gaga-esque C.C., the vid for 3 Words is far superior to that of her debut, with a better wardrobe and a partner in BEP frontman, Will.I.Am (who also produced the track).

Sadly we're not big fans of the song; it's nowhere near as good as Fight For This Love - which was by no means great, anyway- which has sold to date over 600,000 copies in the UK alone, and is on track to be the bestselling single of the year, and is considerably more annoying and lacks a basic beat.

Still, we were right about her last single going to #1 just 'cause she's on the X Factor, and watch this one also do well. Now, whether or not she'll still be doing well come April when the novelty's worn off, remains to be seen.

We love Cheryl, but we seriously doubt it.

If the New York Post is to be believed, lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger's relationship with the other girls has deterioated to the point where they have now reportedly split.

A source says : 'It is war. They have broken up for good. None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight then went off to do her own thing."

Um, Ok. First question: 'Does anyone remember back in 05 when all the girls had solo scenes? If you don't, go back and watch the Beep vid with Will.I.Am - all six had a solo scene with him. Compare that to the Whatcha Think About That vid with Missy where only Nicole had a solo scene.'

Secondly, it seems to have become the Nicole Show; does anyone recall Melody calling her out on it at one of their shows earlier this year, 'Thanks for supporting me... even if I'm not featured'... OOOH... And their latest single, Hush Hush, was all The Pussycat Dolls Featuring Nicole Scherzinger. Alright, then.

Sadly, we still can't bring ourselves to care really. Gone are the days of 05/06 when we were on PCD and actually gave two shits about whether they were splitting up or not. Love them individually, not sure about them as a group. Especially as this news comes as a surprise to no one.

Be honest; who actually expected them to see this decade out, anyway?

Still, the end of an era and all that.

We suppose.

According to PCD's creator, Robin Antin, they are still very much 'alive'. She had this to say about the above reports...

'The Pussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements.

"Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close. Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate."

She continued: "The Pussycat Dolls have proven their success over many years and will continue to do so.

Um, OK, sweetie. But, forgive us if that all sounds a bit iffy - like the Spice Girls excuses before Geri quite, so we won't hold our breath for another release from Nicole and co.

Just under two months after it was cancelled, the CW has announced that it will air the remaining four eps of TBL. Of course, there's no word yet on whether the cast will return to filming yet, but we're crossing our fingers as we type (don't ask how, we're just that good).

They should think about it though, cause with the shitty ratings Melrose Place has been getting (and no wonder, we couldn't even get through the first ep), they're going to need at least one new show to carry onto next year/season...

Ok, plus points:

The video is 5x better than the actual song any day of the week and is hella lot better than the one for Wait Your Turn.

It's actually pretty good and the various outfits she's sporting are v. nice...

Now, minuses...

At first, we could follow the story pretty easily, but this didn't stay the case for long. It got very confusing towards the end - what with the tiger flashing up every now and then (WTF was that about, anyway?), the random car crashing into her, her getting shot by bullets in the water (though that was our favourite scene - very visually pleasing).

We were just puzzled...

Still, overall, a pretty good video and maybe it'll become clearer the more we see it. Or, then again, it could be like JT's vid for Sexyback... which got more and more confusing the more we saw it...

After nigh on months of recieving nothing but hype about the 'massive' new Rihanna LP from some of the hottest artists (JT, Ne-yo) and producers/writers (The Dream, Tricky Stewart) in the game, it's understandable that we've been expecting an album at least on the level of the sick GGGB.

But, after hearing Russian Roulette - which we still don't really like -, Wait Your Turn (which has actually really grown on us), and the admittedly pretty good Hard, we weren't sure if Rated R would live up to the hype. And, after listening to the below, it seems like we were right.

While it's admittedly alright, compared to her last offering, most of the admittedly sick music she (used) to come with, and the high expectations we had of both J Brown and the many A-List songwriters/producers, it's just not on that level. While we like a couple of tracks - the two mentioned above, Cold Case Love and Rude Boy- the rest isn't quite ringing with us. Yes, there is a possibility the tracks may grow on us, but there are no immediate stand out smash hits like GGGB had - Sell Me Candy, Don't Stop The Music, Rehab... we could go on.

Overall, for us, it's quite disappointing and not up to par with either A Girl Like Me or GGGB.

After weeks of anticipation and our breathless wait for a video (don't get all excited, it still hasn't been released yet), we finally have both collaborations between the fantabulous Queen B and Lady Gaga below.

After discovering that the Gagita was to feature in the remix vid for B's Video Phone, we were ecstatic on finding out that the latter was to feature in the former's next single off the sure-to-be-crazy Telephone. So, when we found the below, we knew we had to post them up asap.

Needless to say we love both, but beware that Lady Gaga's verse is reportedly as of yet unmastered. Both sound like they're going to be hits and, after seeing the vid for Bad Romance, and knowing the legendary Hype Williams has directed Video Phone, the anticipation for the videos of both is killing us...
