VERDICT: Courtney Cox Covers The August Edition Of InStyle...

VERDICT: Courtney Cox Covers The August Edition Of InStyle...

Yet another disappointing August cover. What is it with this month that our VERDICTS have been the lowest on average yet?

SMH.

To be completely honest, though, this one isn't terrible. As usual, Ms Cox's bod is ON POINT, but we could have done without that grimace of a smile. Who the Hell okay'ed this photo?

EPIC FAIL.

That grin on a mag cover would make us run in the opposite direction, not buy the damn thing.

KMT.

VERDICT: Danni Minogue Covers The August Edition Of UK InStyle...

(Just this morning it was announced that the lovely Ms Danni Minogue has given birth to a baby boy, so congrats to her!)

We're really liking this cover. Very cute, great outfit and that hair is perfection. Yet another great cover courtesy of Ms Minogue. We could have done without the slightly strained smile, but you know we're not the type to be picky.

;)

VERDICT: Cameron Diaz Covers The July Edition Of UK Vogue...

Cameron's second cover of the month, while not being as good as the InStyle one, is a pretty solid one nonetheless. While the smile looks just a bit strained (perhaps down to fatigue), we love the windswept hair, the sea in the background and that gorgeous gold jacket.

Another good cover, Cam.

We love our girl, Cam, on simple covers like this. Million dollar smile, gorgeous backless dress; we love it all.

Another solid effort, Cam.

We love us some Scar-Jo. We love her with blonde hair, with brown hair or (as in the above) with red hair, because, as we all know, she looks GORGEOUS in anything and with anything.
And the above is no exception. That gorgeous blush dress, the titian curls, the glowing complexion and beaming smile - she looks AMAZING!!
Though, to be honest, when doesn't she?

Oh, Anne. You know that we love you like fat kids love cake, and the above shot just cements it. The gorgeous purple gown, beautiful smile, fabulous hair cut; they all come together to make this one of our favourite cover shots of the month.

And we can't wait to see you come Friday in both the above - released 12.02.10 - but also in that movie we've been talking about since for-bloody-ever, Valentine's Day...

Drew Barrymore's InStyle Cover

Drew Barrymore's InStyle Cover

There's just something so likeable about Drew Barrymore that certain other actresses lack (*cough* Megan Fox *cough*). Here she is looking vibrant and gorgeous in Valentino on the front cover of October's InStyle. Some highlights are...

On not making enemies: “I don’t like alienating people. I’m like a big freaking welcome mat!”
On her selective memory: “I’m such a good secret keeper that I’ll deliberately forget things so I don’t have the urge to tell them.”

On her relationship with her parents: “I am OK with my dad, but my mom and I have yet to work it all out. I don’t talk about it because… how do you talk about something you’re confused about?”

On fame and how it’s affected her: I love my life, I really do. But there are moments I battle with it. Some days I want nothing more than a brilliant mask so I could look like someone else and go wander the streets and be free. I’m very peeved that Halloween only comes once a year.”

On why many of the films she has produced have themes of girl power and collaboration: “I like teams—I like buddies.” I don’t understand women who are competitive, apart from positive forums like athletics. One person is a powerful thing, but a tribe is unstoppable.”

On breaking barriers on the red carpet: “Do you know what I would love? To die on the red carpet. [Laughs] No—I love to succeed on it, but I don’t want to do it conventionally. What I don’t understand is, why is there a barrier between the runway and the red carpet? At fashion shows, the boundaries are gone. But on the red carpet, there’s this line. And I want to walk past that line.”

Love, Love, Love her. Keep doing your thing, Ms Barrymore.
