OK, let's get the good stuff out of the way first. We all know Ms Paltrow's body is honed to perfection and that is on full display here - that blue dress is to die for. We also really love the carefree pose and the natural looking smile (take notes, Cameron D).

Now, what we don't like - and, please note, that this has nothing to Gwyneth herself. Once again, a perfectly attractive person has been made odd-looking thanks to the blunders wonders of photoshop. Her forehead and eyebrows look weirdly stretched, and her cheeks botoxed to the high heavens.

Please, Vogue, we all know Gwyneth is incredibly youthful-looking - especially for a 37 year-old. You DO NOT need to change her face to this extent. You will still have great covers without photoshop.

Calm the Hell down.

Now, this cover is much better. Academy Award winner, Marion Cotillard, follows what seems to have become the standard US Vogue cover for Hollywood's elite; the dreamy, gazing-into-the-distance-while-wearing-a-fabulous-gown-against-a-none-descript-background look.

However, while we are liking this cover ah-lot, we could have done with a softer look in the eyes; Ms Cotillard's are looking just a bit too piercing for the overall look. But, apart from that, a very solid effort.

We all remember Gwyneth's COMEBACK of '08

Prior, we'd written her off as a yoga-touting, veggie-eating bore, with a random website we never cared to visit. THEN, she rolled up to the Iron Man premieres, rocking the most to-die-for skyscraper heels and minis. And we started to love us some Ms Paltrow.

And, in the lead up to the upcoming Iron Man 2 premieres, we can see that 2K10 is going to be no different. The above is exactly what we want from a headshot-only Vogue cover. The perfectly cut side-fringe, the I-know-something-you-don't-know smile, and minimal airbrushing (we can still see her freckles); we love it all.

Well done, Gwyneth. And, if this is any indication of what to expect from your upcoming Iron Man 2 promo, then we're in for something FAB.U.LOUS.

Oh, the irony.

A couple of months after Mean Girls, some random chick named LiLo was the bigger star, even hosting the MTV Movie Awards. Just half a decade, a breakdown and a change of sexuality later, and where is she now?

In the original Queen Bee's shadow. Who is looking iconically gorgeous on the cover of fashion bible, Vogue. Oh, how the tables have turned. Regina couldn't have done it better, herself.

Oh, well. We always liked Rachel better, anyway...

If we weren't already excited as Hell for Nine (released 25th December), then we most definitely are now. This Vogue cover featuring four of the nine stars is gorgeous, the red and gold theme so old-Hollywood, and they all look fierce on the cover. Naturally, some will complain about the airbrushing, but we think it's not too much - a lot less than some get (we could mention names, but we won't... today, anyway) and creates an ethereal theme that goes perfectly...

We like. We like a lot.

Despite the fact that we think Rihanna's a whole lot of 'no talent but good songs with some looks', we can't deny that she looks FIERCE on this cover...

She's definitely serving it. So, stick to the modelling from now on, sweetie, and leave the singing to those that do it best.

But, all that airbrushing? Seriously? You dun know Rhi Rhi's legs ain't quite dat skinny. Just who they trying to fool?

Overall? 8/10
