Rather than attending the Video MONSTER Awards with the rest of her peers, Christina Aguilera was at Lincoln Centre for the launch of the Montblanc John Lennon Edition writing instrument. You can check out her performance of John Lennon's Imagine after the jump.
As usual, Ms Aguilera is just doing too. damn. much. Those unnecessary, thrown-in vocal runs, her poor attempt at making the song her own; it just doesn't quite sit right with us.
We know you can sing Christina, and we are looking forward to the day when you let your voice shine on an understated track.
But we won't hold our breath.
